Deposit Once, Pay Less per Call

Serpent API uses a pay-as-you-go credit system. Deposit funds into your account and credits are deducted per API call based on the engine and endpoint used. No subscriptions or recurring charges. Your deposited credits never expire (promotional bonus credits expire 30 days after they're granted — see below).

For new users, the minimum to get started is $10. Once your lifetime deposits reach $50, the minimum for any further top-up is $100 — so established accounts add credits in larger blocks. New credit is priced at $0.30 per 1,000 SERP API calls on Growth after one $100 deposit, $0.10/1K calls on Scale after one $500 deposit, $0.05/1K calls on Enterprise after one $1,000 deposit, or $0.03/1K calls on Enterprise Plus after one $1,250 deposit, so the larger minimum lines up with the tier thresholds. Refunded or charged-back amounts don't count toward your tier.

Each deposit is priced by its size: $100 buys Growth, $500 Scale, $1,000 Enterprise and $1,250 Enterprise Plus. Your best deposit in a calendar month sets the price for all your deposits that month. Credit you already hold keeps the price you bought it at. Bonuses spend first, then older deposited credit, then newer deposited credit; a call that exceeds the older remainder uses the newer price and applies that remainder toward it. Refunded or charged-back amounts do not count toward qualification. Concurrency, minute/hour limits and queue priority follow live spendable balance, independently of the price schedule. Daily allowance is at least 10,000 requests/day for every account, including free accounts, or 100,000/day after verified total net deposits of $500; higher balance bands keep their higher daily limits. Goodwill and bonus credit do not count; refunds and chargebacks reduce qualifying deposits. Reviewed custom daily allocations take precedence. Bonus credit adds spendable balance but does not count as a qualifying deposit.

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through our secure payment partner Dodo Payments. All transactions are SSL encrypted and processed securely.

Your deposited credits never expire — once added, they stay in your account until used, with no monthly fees or maintenance charges. Promotional bonus credits (for example the extra credits from a coupon match or bonus offer) expire 30 days after they're granted. Only that bonus portion expires — your deposited balance always remains. When you make API calls, spending draws from your bonus credits first, so they're used before they lapse. Your billing dashboard shows your deposit and bonus balances separately, along with the bonus expiry date.

Every response we could not complete is refunded automatically to your account. One exception: a 404 for a resource that genuinely does not exist is an answer, and that call is charged.

Because credits are delivered instantly, purchases are generally non-refundable. We make exceptions for technical failures, duplicate charges, unauthorized transactions, or service discontinuation. Enterprise is the $1,000 deposit tier: $0.05 per 1,000 SERP API calls, with lower prices than Scale on our other APIs — for example Images $0.21, Maps Quick $8.93 and AI Rank $0.85 per 1,000. Enterprise Plus is the $1,250 deposit tier: $0.03 per 1,000 SERP API calls, our lowest price, with our lowest prices on other APIs — Images $0.18, Maps Quick $7.35 and AI Rank $0.70 per 1,000. News and YouTube are $0.01 per 1,000 from Scale up, and X profiles are one flat rate at every tier. Rate limits follow live balance: from $1,000, up to 300 concurrent calls and 1,000,000 calls/day; from $1,250, up to 500 concurrent and 5,000,000 calls/day.
